On this sacred day of Gita Jayanti, we honour the moment when Bhagwan Śrī Krishna’s eternal wisdom flowed from the battlefield of Kurukshetra, not to glorify war, but to awaken clarity, duty, and inner freedom within humanity.
“कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।”Karmanyeva adhikāras te mā phaleṣu kadācana(Gita 2.47)“You have the right only to your actions, never to the fruits.”
In a world drowning in anxiety, competition, noise, and constant comparison, this one shloka shines like a lighthouse. Krishna reminds us that our peace is destroyed not by work, but by attachment to results , the fear of failure, the hunger for validation, and the pressure of perfection that modern life imposes on us.
The Gita’s teaching is simple yet revolutionary:Do your duty with sincerity, and let go of the burden of outcomes. This transforms work into worship, responsibility into sādhanā, and success into a natural by-product rather than an obsession.
Today, as we celebrate Gita Jayanti, may we remember that Krishna’s message was not meant only for Arjuna, it was meant for every one of us standing at our own crossroads, facing battles of doubt, stress, and moral confusion.
The Gita does not ask us to withdraw from the world. It asks us to show up with courage, clarity, and devotion.
May this Gita Jayanti awaken the warrior within us , the one who acts without fear, serves without ego, and walks firmly on the path of Dharma.
