Inspired by Rajiv Malhotra’s seminal work Being Different and his vision through the Infinity Foundation, the Banyan Tree Network (BTN) embodies the spirit of Sanatana Dharma decentralized, diverse, and deeply interconnected. Founded under Malhotra’s guidance, the network serves as a living metaphor for India’s civilizational ethos where each branch, root, and leaf draws nourishment from a shared soil of dharmic wisdom. The Infinity Foundation, established in 1994, has been at the forefront of intellectual kshatriyata, promoting rigorous scholarship, inter-civilizational dialogue, and defense of India’s knowledge traditions. Through BTN, this vision has evolved into a collaborative global platform uniting Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, and Sikh organizations that share a commitment to mutual respect, pluralism, and collective well-being.
The second meeting of the Banyan Tree Network will be held on 15 November 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, India, marking a milestone in this growing movement. The event will bring together thought leaders, dharmic institutions, and organizations from across the world to celebrate the network’s shared mission and to chart a roadmap for future collaboration. The agenda includes honoring intellectual kshatriyas, reflecting on 30 years of the Infinity Foundation and the work of Sri Rajiv Malhotra, and discussing practical strategies for strengthening dharmic resilience in the modern world.
In our commitment to strengthening the global Hindu ecosystem and fostering unity among dharmic institutions, Global Hindu Temple Network is proud to join the Banyan Tree Network in advancing this vision of interconnected service and shared heritage.
